Augustana celebrates 10 years with the U of A

The century-old Camrose institution has embraced the opportunities made available as part of the worldwide reputation of the U of A.

(Edmonton) On July 1, 2004, Augustana University College-formerly Camrose Lutheran College-was brought into the University of Alberta fold as the Augustana Faculty.

While much has changed in the 10 years since the merger-new buildings, new faces and new partnerships around the world-much has also stayed the same. While continuing to honour the school's 104-year heritage, Augustana has embraced the opportunities made available as part of the worldwide reputation of the U of A.

Visit the 10th anniversary website to read about the merger and its impact on Augustana, the university, the Camrose area, Alberta and the future leaders who study there.
