In the short time since his return to Alberta, President-Elect David Turpin has observed that the University of Alberta matters to Edmontonians and Albertans, and that the U of A will play a fundamental part in moving our province and Canada forward.

In this video interview—part of a series of conversations with the University of Alberta's next president—he talks about the warm welcome he and his wife Suromitra Sanatani have received from the community, and about the passion and enthusiasm Edmontonians have for the U of A and their city.
