(Edmonton) Distinguished university professor emeritus Jacob Masliyah has been elected as a foreign associate to the American National Academy of Engineering. Academy membership honours those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice or education, and is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to an engineer in the United States.
